Marque na agenda, 12 de Maio é o dia!

 

Na próxima semana teremos o lançamento do Office 2010, SharePoint 2010 e Project 2010 (Isso inclui Project 2010 e Project Server 2010).

Essa semana estou no Campus da Microsoft em Redmond e vocês não tem ideia o quanto a equipe esta animada com esse lançamento (Afinal são 2/3 anos de trabalho).

Por isso marquem na agenda, 12 de maio ao meio dia.

Será um evento mundial, o lançamento será realizado virtualmente atraves do link www.the2010event.com.

No lançamento teremos uma sessão de perguntas e respostas do Project 2010 e nosso amigo Christophe irá responder.

Certificação e treinamento EPM 2010

De acordo com o nosso post sobre certificação, o nosso amigo, Doug McCutcheon postou um video em Inglês explicando como serão os treinamentos e certificações para 2010.

Novidades:

  • Não teremos treinamento oficial da Microsoft, só de parceiros. (A BHS já esta preparando a atualização do treinamento do Project 2007 para a versão 2010)
  • Previsão de lançamento das certificações:

Esta programado para o mês de Abril (Alguns dizem a data 16 de Abril) o lançamento da versão RTM dos produtos 2010, entre eles:

  • Office 2010
  • SharePoint 2010
  • Visio 2010
  • Project 2010

RTM = Release to manufacturing (Versão de produção ou versão final)

Para os consumidores, o Office 2010 estará disponível on-line e nas prateleiras do varejo em Junho.

Experimente o Microsoft Project e Microsoft Project Server 2010 pelo Browser!

Primeiramente tenho que dar os parabéns a equipe de produto da Microsoft pela brilhante ideia. Como a nova versão exige alguns requisitos não tão fáceis de encontrar numa máquina normal, disponibilizaram uma máquina virtual através do Browser, tornando disponível para qualquer pessoa “brincar” com os novos produtos.

Virtual Lab:

  • Este laboratório virtual é a mesma versão do download abaixo, mas disponível através de um servidor de host, possibilitando um experiência diretamente do seu Internet Explorer. Por favor clique aqui para continuar.
  • Prestem muita atenção aos requisitos do sistema – especialmente se você estiver em um ambiente corporativo protegido por firewall!

Download  da máquina virtual Preconfigurada (Requer 64bits e Hyper-v):

  • Download inclui requisitos, instruções de configuração e scripts de demonstração – continuar aqui.
  • Por favor preste muita atenção ao documento Setting up the Host Machine, ele inclue medidas importantes para restaurar a máquina virtual!
  • Para obter o desempenho ideal recomendamos 8 GB de RAM e unidade de estado sólido (SSD). (Neste item vocês percebem porque a opção via browser é tão interessante!)

Project 2010: Novos campos

Por causa das novas funcionalidades do Project 2010, foram criados alguns campos. Segue os campos e o porque de serem utilizados:

  • Active – usado para designar se uma tarefa está ativa ou inativa.
  • Task Mode – usado para determinar se uma tarefa esta no modo automático ou manual. 
  • Scheduled Start – usado para tarefas agendadas manualmente. Início, término e duração são opcionais para tarefas agendadas manualmente.
  • Scheduled Finish – usado para tarefas agendadas manualmente. Início, término e duração são opcionais para tarefas agendadas manualmente.
  • Scheduled Duration – usado para tarefas agendadas manualmente. Início, término e duração são opcionais para tarefas agendadas manualmente.
  • Warning – usada com tarefas agendadas manualmente se a tempestividade ou seqüenciamento de tarefas poderia ser considerado um problema.
  • Ignore Warnings – ignorar alertas.
  • Baseline Estimated Start 0-10 – linhas de base estimadas são linhas de bases para tarefas agendadas manualmente.
  • Baseline Estimated Finish 0-10 – linhas de base estimadas são linhas de bases para tarefas agendadas manualmente.
  • Baseline Estimated Duration 0-10 – linhas de base estimadas são linhas de bases para tarefas agendadas manualmente.

    Observe que o campo Active é uma característica única do Project Professional. Não tenho certeza como Project Standard irá manipular um arquivo do Project Professional que usa esse recurso.
